SYLVAIN AUTHIER

Sylvain is Vice President Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) for Quebec and has been with Morneau Shepell since 2011. He joined the firm with the acquisition of Jacques Lamarre + Associates Inc. as Morneau Shepell expanded its EAP presence in Quebec. He is responsible for all activities related to the professional support offered to organizations, their people and their families to help them face the challenges of managing their work and life responsibilities.

One of Sylvain’s current clients is CBC/ Radio Canada, where he offers business strategy and customer service, ensuring the coherence and effectiveness of all services.

Sylvain’s career has included senior positions at various organizations in the field of EAP. He was the co-founder of an organization focused on the needs of employees and their families, specifically in the areas of services for children including speech therapy, psycological and occupational therapy.

Sylvain has a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and an MBA from University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM) and the University of Paris, France. He is also a lecturer at UQAM.
